This site is a large sandy-bottomed bay with a rather narrow entrance, that’s why it is best dived when weather conditions are good.
Beautiful reefs to explore to the north and to the south of the bay, offering a great diversity of hard and soft corals and some beautiful rock formations – there are even some small canyons to venture into.
In the middle of the bay is a small seagrass area slopping down, where giant green turtles and other hungry inhabitants can be seen – the dugong can even sometimes pay a visit there!
If sea conditions are good, Marsa Murain is also a great place to snorkel.
